Intimacy(2001)
A woman comes to the man's flat every Wednesday
afternoon only for sex.
They don't speak but they seem to have an
understanding as they silently lie down
together on the carpet.
The man is Jay. He is a bartender,
used be a musician.
His wife Suzan walked out him a year ago.
The following week, next week...
at the same time...she arrives and
they immediately undress and made love.
After made love, Jay chase the woman.
She run to pub holding a dress.
Jay chase her again, she run downstairs ,
it's fringe theater.
He found her name is Claire...

After watched it, I thought about "intimacy"
"intimacy" includes many kinds of meaning.
Sometimes feels good, sometimes sounds devious.
I felt "devious side of intimacy" ,after watch it.
Jay and Claire tried to reconstruct their
life and have looked for a person who understand
their effort without word.
Claire keen on acting thought she knew her
husband is fed up with her pipe dream.
Also Jay used to be a musician.
But his wire Suzan seem that she can't stand
he is content with as a bartender.
( In spite of he decided to he makes a
living as a professional )
They wanted to something that useful for
their dream.
But it's wrong to get only for sex, isn't it?
Even though you know to get hurt,
it's important...try to talk before make love.

A young ambitious bond trailer Bud wanted to success
not as a trailer. His destination was Gorton who built up
his status as millionaire from deadbeat.
Father of Bud Carl works at Bluestar airline as an enginner
for a longtime and he has totally opposite idea of style
of built up one's for Bud.
He thought there was no need to make a killing, just spent
ordinary life is good for family.
But Bud break the news about Bluestar airline to make a
appointment for Gorton and make a deal.
In spite of it was insider deal.
Gorton approve Bud because of he remind his youth days.

Bud scale the ladder of success but he found it was
takeover...

I thought bond dealer was top of young executive
at that time something like IT engineer '90s.
They're stressful, earn a lot, wouldn't tell
honestly.
Bud was type of person who come out '90s.
Someone said whatever one's feel even though
it might hurt somebody.
Carl was type of person whose life of value changed
after JFK was assassinated.
On the other hand Gorton was icon of '80s
Everybody invested their money for figureless.
Three of person figured American money style I thought
Back then I've frustrated my boss whenever they
play dirty.
In the movie told "Social sanction offered both
side but Hero done good things"
I thought I wasn't willing to get social sanction
those kind of case. Because of it's unfair, isnt'it
Anyway...beginning of the movie F.Shinatra's
one of best numbers Fly Me To The Moon
used for soundtrack.
Sound commentator was Member of The Police
dramer Stewart Coopland, he has good sence of
music, I thought.
Totally there was light touch considering for
O.Stone


The Legend Of 1900 (1999)
It's the shortly after World War 2, a trumpet player Max
has spent most his life playing trumpet abroad a ship
named the Virginian.
From the turn of the century until the way, the Virginian
traveled back and forth across the Atlantic ,carrying
wealthy people to Europe to America.
With no money and no job, Max walks into a London pawn shop
to sell his trumpet. Before he says good-bye to it forever,
he plays the horn one last time.
Amazingly, the shopkeeper recognizes Max is playing.
Then he pick up the clacked matrix and started playing it by
phonograph.
Max told this music written by piano genius who was born in ship.

Based on a simple monologue which made in Italy I heard.
Director G. Tornatore made it dramatic story.
Begging of movie's scene, one immigrant said after he found
Statue of Liberty, he shouted "America".
Then the title covered over screen. Just one scene...
whenever I saw it , I wiped my tears.
At that time, how many immigrants ride on Virginian.. or
What did they think about "Virginian".. the "trip" on it
For somebody, it would be good memorie for rest of their live
It was like that they wanted to talk their relatives.
1900 said about himself "intangible presence" though, they(Max,
immingrants ,the girl) wouldn't thought about him.
For wealthy people, he was dreamlike, for immigrants he was latent.
For Max, he was necessarily....as same as his soul.
To justified his existence, Max hide 1900's matrix in piano. Why?
He wanted to left "proof of 1900's life".He found it was the
best way to proof it. Somebody said 1900 is just Cipher,
is that Okay .But I'd like to say,
music give a lot of hope everyone.


The Wedding Singer(1998)
Film time setting '85 in America. It was called
"no generation" and turkey. There were lavish
fashion around there, hard-rock drove the trend
someone like Michael Jackson or Prince, Billy Idol.
We watched Miami Vice, Darace, Leminton Steel, Airwolf
Robbie Hart was wedding singer who cerebrated wedding
party and do MC. He met Julia who works a weitless at
banquet. Both should have gotten marriage another
fianc馥. However Robbie was fled his honey Linda
on the day of wedding ceremony.
"Bride didn't came here!" Since then he fallen down
and furious at party. Julia tried to calm down Robbie
though, more she do that more Robbie fallen down.
On the other hand Julia worried about her marriage.
Her fianc馥 Glenn didn't notice her and she gave a
loose to her everything. She asked Robbie.
Robbie ended up to help her wedding then he found
Glenn was unspeakable ingrates. What does Robbie do?

Everything was nostalgic for me!
BIG CD player which made by Sony(I used to have it!)
It was as big as DVD+ Hard-disk recorder however
We can play only one CD player. It's funny back then
All character were too dump,it's kind of embarrasing but
funny and nostalgic. Because of I have same memories
And there were many quates in a movie They were twisted.
"Do you wanna be Fongie, don't you?" It reminds me
'70s TV Drama Happy Days.
On the other hand it's not hilarious movie, romantic movie.
Robbie sometimes misunderstoods why Julia wanted to get
marriage. After he found it was the same reason of him
he tried to chase her.(It was folks that Robbie and Julia
ride on a same plane) Anyway
It was one of the best movie I've ever seen.
I'd like to share this movie who were born same age of me.


Life As A House(2001)
An middle age archtecture George has sticked to
make minuture for presentation.
He hasn't been wiling to hear advice why don't you use CG
for presentation,now it's granted to use PC.
He finally was fired .
After that he was dignosised terminal cancer.
He decided,Now it's time to built "My House".
But everybody didn't wanted to answer his last appearl.
His ex-wife has told thousand of time,
she was already fed up with it.
His junky-make-uped sun Sam has raged everything and
close his mind for along time.
George told "I hated my father, it's traditional.
To make a house with me,try to terminate it"
He forced to pick up his son and spent with Sam
whole of his summer holiday....

Do you think "doing everything too late" whenever
you screwed up something and you thought there was lack
of effort to do it.
I don't think so. It's just result, might be your fortune
or the God might give one more chance if you have fortune
to do it.
I've heard many times many people "if I didn't mess...."
Year, I cried, regretted thousand of times, many reasons.
But if I didn't do it,I wasn't able to learn everything.
I don't know case of others however as far as I'm concerned,
"Fault is drastic remedy".Also movie said same thing.
In the movie,surrounding people must be fed up with advice George
long time ago,they waited the time, he realized true thing...
"what's the most important for him".
When he broke his house, he said not only breaking house
breaking hatrated, rage, all of ugly.
Sappy? But For Japanese still special meaning to
"Building house for family".
Because in custom,Japanese leave their family house after
they got married and they bought their house.
At least my generation would have same idea after they got married.
And George has trauma family relationship.
Before he passed away, he refix it somehow to make his house.
Hugging scene was wipe my tears.
Not mention director was who directed "Rocky".
He wanted to say "People can change even though he or
she is desperate person on the surface....
To tell the truth H.Chstensen is better than Episode 2


The Wedding Planner(2001)
Mary Fiore is a skillful wedding planner.
She's ambitious, hard-working, extremely organized,
and she knows exactly what to do and say to make
any wedding a spectacular event.
Not only that she knows how to calm bride and bloom
and their parents.
Thanks to her, her event company's sales scale score
raised 5times. She asked to be a partnership for her
CEO however CEO said I've endured many things which
I couldn't say for you. It's not problem of sales skill.
After that she met a handsome young paediatrician Steven.
She told she is wedding planner and her father forced to
arranged married to her.
They attracted each other however he engaged already.
Furthemore his fiancee is next client of Mary.

Basically story of wedding review devided good or bad.
It's really personality reason.
"Can I sympasize with characters and movie,realy?"
My Best friend's Wedding was totally suck for me.
But Wedding Singer was really good for me.
How about this one... it's work!
If I were Mary, I wouldn't able to plan Steve's wedding planning.
Probably I would blame him and myself why I fall in love such
like guy everytimes.
Especially I was moved the scene Mary told Steve her first engagement.
She should have happy wedding however she was betray her
friend and fianc馥.
Since then she's devoted "wedding planner" just her work.
I really moved than climax scene.( Of cause climax scene was really
funny.) And hilarious guy Massimo turned serious when he told Mary
about wedding. It's good.
Casting and fashion was good sense in the movie.
