Antwone Fisher(2002) |
Based on a bestselling memoir,"Finiding Fisher memoir"
An navy marine Antwone who easy to get mad. All of "mad"
from "He's felt everybody fun of him." He never gave
"love" from anybody else even real parents step-parents.
One day he had a punch up with white marine. As a result,
he demoted mate from to able seaman, sending back his pay
$200 and he ended up to go to medical center.
He refused treatment first week but he started to tell why
he closes his mind . Naval psychiatrist Davenport suggested
him to change how to give away his mind such as reading books.
On the other hand Davenport has held relationship problem
between his wife. Antwone was able to cure his mind day by
day by himself. Eventually he was able to invite Cheryl
for date. But it was just "surface curing".
He went to bat cause of marines made fun of Antwone who is
still virgin. But he has a reason which hasn't been able
to talk anybody. Also he lost his best friend.
He convinced himself that noone love him...Davenport
invited thanks giving day. Antwone and suggested to
quest his real parents. He said your real happiness will

Denzel directed NOT "tear-jerker" movie.
"Finding oneself movie". Difference point of Hollywood
hit movie "Good Will Hunting" was "responsibility",
I thought. I hate say this "Good Will-" was kind of
fabled story. However, this story based on real life
and crew and casts communicate as if they get to know
each other for a long time ago.(actually Derek and
Antwone has met in Sony) Most of directors who is
also actors tend to direct own movie less than
Denzel's carrier. He took his chance of directing
apparently. Most appropriate to time to directing,
screenplay, casts, crew, everything got together for
him. So he was able to make the best movie
"actor-director" movie.
In a movie Antwone showed his poem Davenport
"Who cry for the little boy".
I thought it was the last
"emotional dependence" for Davenport. After showed it
Davenport suggested Antwone to quest his parents.
The point was how to suggest. I was really envy
Antwone this scene. I thought why were there
any person who like Davenport in my childhood? |

I'd been arts chool and my mom is oil painter
I've seen paintings , drawings of Hitler though
all his works lack of something "emotion".
There was no emotional background his works
I thought he pursued his craft at that, he was
not type of person who was hardworker,easy to
breakdown his dream.
I got why Hitler wouldn't able to be an artist
and he was dictator.
Then poverty and lack of one's family love run
he by ground.
As a result Hitler has no room in his heart who
hear someone's talking, he wanna hear his saying
for someone.
Eventually he met a man who hear his saying Max
however Max has all of things he didn't has, love
status, money, women, ability...
On the other hand Max has spent serenity days
on the surface he has annoyed relationship
between women.
They figure out their way and wanted to help out
each other but they were caught up in the tide
of the "war" I thought.

It made me happy after I watched it.
The film started "Childhood of Amerie"
They would able to make more one movie,
I thought it was funny.
I thought many viewers would have a sense of
closeness by Amerie just watch first scene.
The point of plus side of Amerie was
her curious always toward for someone makes
happy not selfish.
But "way to do it" was kind of eccentrics.
It was funny and cute.

after he burned the breeze it 140km/h.
and is hospitalized for a while.
When he recovered, he didn't recognize his wife Christiane
his friend Freddie (a psychiatrist) and all his properties.
He decided to have sex with her, but she always unreasonably
prevented it. Time passed and slowly George Campos remembered
his real name, Pierre Lagrange.
Then he found dead body in the house, before that he found
there are many traps which trapping someone death.
The psychiatrist warned him that he himself is G. Campo,
but the latter had already no doubt of being poor
ex-soldier Lagrange. One of the reasons was that his
supposedly dog did not ever recognize him.

It was posthumous work for director Julian and he asked main role
for Alain. Ironically Julian died by traffic accident
during the movie shooting.
But who was George Campo and what's for?
Probably, Christiane planed to perfect murdering plan
However Freddie and Kim have gotten her hair when
Pierre wakes up and he tried to express tenderness
for her. So she changer the plan and she wouldn't
killed Pierre.
It was kind of "perfect planning version of"
Plain Soleiu thought.
Director Julien would have a hint from that movie
I suppose.
And The fasion of Alan in a movie was another point.
He wore Japanese Kimono so much (how to wear was
kind of strange though...)

Fabio Thierry's girl friend was raped and killed at

Angie who is cousin of Fabio visited Fabio because
her son Guitou was missing for a days.
Angie remarried Maxim 3 years ago, then he disagreed
to go out his son and his girl friend Naima.
Fabio promised found them however Guitou was killed by
extremists. Because he was a witness of murder.
At that time Erene appeared to replace Fabio.
She asked how to turn on the job and affairs but
Fabio wouldn't accept it.
During he was looking for Naima, he found crony Serge
then he said "Meet Dabole". He had a file which listed
all name of Mafia and their connections.
Fabio asked analysis for ex girl friend Babeth
File of Serge...why Guitou should have killed by someone...
It was connected someone who is nobody thought ...
Stage 3:Solea
Fabio retired his job and he owned cafe instead of Fonfon.
During the party Babeth was faced disaster in Rome.
At that time Fabio got to know a young lady Sonia.
They promise to meet next morning however she was killed.
It was just "warning". The murder said search Babeth and
give the Serge file, if you would regect to do it,y our
friends, fellowships, would be die.
Erene interview for Fabio but Fabio alert everybody then
he didn't speak something.
For him the fellowship was Thierry only.
There was a bugging device in his house...Fabio found a
fantastic plan to survive this battle...

After reading the original story ,leading actor Alan Delon
decided to go back to the film world.
I thought story concept was much better than his '80s movies
or we would be able to say much better than his '70s
mediocre movies.
In spite of he hasn't been on a diet, face lifting,etc
which the famous actors should have done once,
his smile and twinkle eyes were alived!
His youngest son Delon Jr was really cute.
I think story development and character's drawing was
good as a TV mini series.

Beginning of the movie, I was about to go sleeping however
I found why Delon wouldn't believe women so much.
Delon not only performed leading role but also produced it
In a movie Delon is skillful lawyer who has a decent status
for his life and had beautiful wife however he isn't
satisfied his life.
His wife is independent and strong, he wanted to comfort for
women at first for Peggie.
But Marc found Birds of a feather flock together.
Peggie also has looked for the place where is able to
settle into the place for her.
When she met Franois, "the place" was not Marc's house
I supposed and Marc found it already.
For Delon, he couldn't believe the women so independent
but also hasn't kept women who is so weak
The last scene of movie,conception of life of Delon
draw so well.

Will identified with Ali.
When I watched movie preview, I thought.
Drawing three of his marriage,not only his boxing life
but also drawing his relationships, his political actions,
how to bring the miracle eventually he made come back in
Kinsasya.
Adopting the cast his wife Jada Pinkette was good point
for the movie. John Voido was really Howard himself.
Of cause Will devoted himself into this role and said
"I don't wanna be a idiot who messed up Ali".
Probably all of casts who were in this movie, tried to
identified with the role as possible.
But I thought directiong point didn't strike my cord.
M.Mann one of the diredtors who is second of none
drawong men cool.
But I thought did he slump this movie or he aimed
making brock buster mover after made Insider
It's okay if the movie would be low-key.
I'd like to see it "Ali through Howard" like biography
style movie.

Based on dossy crime novel written by E.Leonard.
Dossy story, skillful director, talented actors...
Those elements should have been best elements to
making good movie.
But I thought it didn't work.
Beginning of this movie was stylish,I expected something.
But middle of the movie, it was getting bored.
One things for sure the how to fulmination E. Leonard
novel was really difficult.
Sometimes director might screw up.
I thought it made a stepping stone of making,
Ocean's 11.
I thought screenplay was shallow.
In spite of this novel is good, director is good.
I realized how difficult to handle novel of E.Lenard.

Then Paul talked his symptoms.
He got into schizophrenia. And cause of it came from his child
memory. Then what's going on Ben's wedding and Paul's future
Mafia's meeting and Ben's wedding was same day and around the corner.

After I watched it, I remember De Niro played
Al Capone in Untouchable
Now De Niro played Paul in the movie like
kick off "good old days his roles" like
Michael in Deer Hunter.
In '70s to 80s, marfia movies stories were
serious stories however recently producer
made them comedy touch like Mickey Blue Eyes.
Because they draw how to communicate mafia and
ordinaly person.
Role of Billy Crystal was a psychiatrist who's
wedding was just around the corner.
But he bumped into maria's rimo before he got
married. Then he ended up to give therapie for
boss Paul who has schizophrenia.
But he didn't know what did it came from.
Furthermore he chased Miami where was resort
area of Billy. Then Paul forced to give therapie.
Then this movie draw
"Maria family has social duties in a way".
Yeah, "in a way" not "style of commom people".
After Billy came back to Miami, Paul sent a
gorgeous sculpture which like stolen somewhere.
First night of wedding for Billy, Tonny Benette
himself sing middle of the night for him.
Then Billy had nightmare last scene of The God Father
the most famous mafia movie.
It was trriged why Paul has such like trauma and
he broke away from family.
Story plot was funny and casting was good.
