There were pleanty of twisted lines embossed real NY life.
Director Spike Lee didn't touch the script line however
spirt of his movie took over actors who starred Spike's movie.
After watched Insideman,I found how much
we're controled "prejudice" or "bias".
They're not only "surface impression" but also
subconscious awareness.
For example,when a police talked with Denzel,
the police man was about to said n****
It meant high rate of Italian and Irilish police in NY.
After that seek faithful hostage was relieved from
bank robbering group,everybody armed for him
in spite of he had message board from group.
(Of cause listning device fit on inside of the board
but nobody wasn't able to find it because of
their prejudice.

broken cell-phone...Broken nose man found a newspaper
the day before yesterday's edition.
Also Denim jean man and Blue Rancher Shurts man found
the guardman of Liberty Praza West Bild.
According to newspaper told that there was a kidnapping
at Liberty Plaza West.
Three of kidneppers got millionair Mr.Call and his
account McCaine.
It meant somebody might be Mr.Call and Mr.McCaine in 5 men.
But they can't figure out another things of kidnapping
Who is kidnapper...who is Mr.Call...

I've expected Jim Caviezel's suspence movie
he played villain since High Claimes
He get recover his name as an actor though
it's no need to nude scene why he got into
crime mate after he lost his daughter and got
divorced. It made his not only his character
but also him cheap and sloppy.
Sometimes Caviezel misunderstand those kinds
of situation.
Whole of movie reminds me drastic suspence movie
Memento,of cause there was a man who like
Jo Pantoriano in Memento.
If Jo would be more outstanding,the story would
look like as same as Memento.
Director would avoid it.
Visual effect was interesting for me.
Nowadays, using cutting-age disital camera whenever
they shot their movie would be front-line of making
movie style however he stick to shot 35mm cinema scoop
analogic film. I watched small movie thether.
It was really good.
It made us thirilling.
Also this idea reminds me Twelve Angly Men.
Not only cinematize but also dramatize would be good.


36 Quai des Orfrevres(2006)
There were two detectives in 36 Quai des Orfrevres
Paris Metoroporitan Department.
A man who name was Leo worked at BRI,had a
strong sence to justice and had a lots of popularity.
Another man who name was Denis who worked ar BRB
his job was put down robbering not serch why
affairs happen like Leo.
And Denis was kind of authoritarianism.
They used to love same women Camille, after
she'd gotten married Leo, they are enemy of each other.
Also their confront each other.
At the same time,in the underbelly of the
Parisian criminal world, the Paris Metroporitan Department
had been frustrated by a gang committing a series of
violent robberie,in 1 and half years 9 people were killed
2 billion eulo had stolen by same gang star broup however
BRB and BRI had been nothing about that.
Denis had been charge of this affair, for him,this affair
should be solved as soon as possible than Leo.
Because Denis had been seeking promotion.
But chief.Robert had thought Leo was more appropiate
his place than Denis as Denis was just authoritarianism.
As proof it, chief.Robert appointed Leo to command the
affair though Denis complained it chief.
Chief Robert told Denis don't cause trouble between BRB and BRI.
A few days later Leo met black beefer Silien to get information
who were bank robbers.
But Silian used Leo as an alibi of killed detective Zelviv
who sent him up the river.
Leo annoyed whether arrested detective-killer of beeper of
serial-bank robbers...after he'd annoyed he choised information.
Alleged ringleaders were Bouranger and Horn.
Leo made a detailed "assaulting" plan based on Silian's information.
Fellows of BRI and BRB should had followed his plan.
But...Denis suddenly went off himself with gun to take all the credit.
Mate of Eddie was shot his head, Eve was kidnapped bank robbers.
Action of Denis had tragic effects not only BRI but also P.M.D.
In spite of Denis had taken for granted blamed everybody and
should resignation of transfer, he tried to drag someone down Leo somehow.
Eventually Denis caught the evidence Silian and Leo met at night of
killing of detective Zelviv.
Futhermore judge was Russeau who hate Police,Camille didn't admid to meet
him. One day...Silian called her to proof his innocence but...

I thought what a splendid "film nour movie" for a long time.
In Japan, those kinds of movie's distributing company are small,
(less than 500 movie thether in USA),I watched movie thether
which seat less than 100 seat!
Of cause morning show,after morning show, every seats were full.
This movie was appropiate to said introduction on leaning
"caper movie" in France like J=P=Melville.
The director, Olivier Marchal is a former cop,father was novelist
of film nour and the story of 36 Quai Des Orf钁res was
from real facts from the life of Dominique Loiseau
(who co-wrote the script), former member of the BRI
(Brigade de Recherche et d'Intervention = Search and Action Squad,
the "anti-gangs" squad) in the mid eighties.
"Quai des Orf钁res" means to the French what
"Scotland Yard" means to the British.
In this movie we follow the struggle between two cops.
Also role model of Denis was top detective in BRB.
Role model of Eddie would be Jan Vintz who died real facts
in Dominique apparently.
In fact, after arrested bank robbers,members of BRI were arrested
by suspition of corruption.
In spite of Vinz(in the movie, probably, Eddie) died
in the line of duty, he didn't hold public funeral.
And his archival record and personal information after he died.
His family and reletives told "Vinz killed two times".
Instead of that, director draw all of polices turn their back
Eddie's public funeral under mentaly prepare trasfering somewhere.
Just writhing words,Denis was how terrible he was but Depardieu
was talented.Playing authorisism head of the BRB
(Brigade de R駱ression du Banditisme = Crime Repression Squad,
taking care of big robberies and so on),act on instinct.
On the other hand Auteuil was prudent person, before take it,
he would prepare many times he wants.
Casting of women were so cool.They stick to back up the man who love.
How wonderful to casting Mylene Demongeot as Manoue.
She reminds me Melville's movie Simone.


The Lake House(2006)
Feeling that it's for a change in her life,
Dr.Kate Foster decided to leave the surburban illinois locale
where she completed her residency and took a job at a
busy Chicago hospital.
Before she left there,she'd posted a letter for somebody who
is going to rent there.
She didn't know where is going to get it...

After she left the lake house she worked busy as a bee.
At Varentain Day in '06, she met her mother.
Her mother worried why she put into her life only work even though
she is beautiful.
During they talked about it, a buy had bumped into a car, Kate called
amburance but he never came back again.
As a doctor, she got depressed so deep. Her co-worker Anna recommended
to leave the work place and why don't you go your memorable place.
Kate went to the lake house again but she found a mail in a mail box.

Suprisingly, a letter came from the two years past of the same day.
Alez Wyler, a talented but flustrated architect who design only
prehab house nearby the lake house.
Loudly girlfriend Mona wouldn't understand his job and why he's
frustrated.
In his happy time, his estranged archtect father, professor of univecity
but he left his family life,built the lake house for Alex's mother.
Now, the lake house badly negrected, nobody was willing to live there.
Alex decited to repair and rent it.
Before he arrived the house he'd found a misterious letter what that?
Foot print? '06...? This year should be '04...
Can this be happening?
She told him if you would able to find this letter please back the letter
following adress...
Alex went apartment place where "she is going to live '06"
with his young brother Henry but there was no apartment.
There was a board which was drawn "planning of apartment".
The only way to correspondent her the mail box of the lake house.
Kate told him via mailbox with a wool muffler because April 3 would
be a heavy snow. Everybody had a cold. Be careful.
Alex wouldn't beleave it but suddenly snow came the lake house.
To correspondent each other,their life changed day by day.
Then, they felt in love.

I don't have any good image for based Korean movie.
I thought based story and character's setting was
depressing,lack of independent and too much romantic.
On the other hand this re-make story of English version
was not tear-jeak,character's setting has persuasivenness.
Of cause, co-star with Sandra and Keanu waited so long!
Usually,romantic love story was comical of sad however,
the pair of Sandra and Keanu reminds us friend or cousin.
Story plot be suit for old-hat Japanese I thought.
Before woman was aware of exsitence of man, man has aware
of her,so he tried to tell her his feeling and suceeded
his love again and again. But finally woman find him.
Alex and Kate, both have a carrer that can make a living.
But both felt luck of feeling of love usually.
What thing do I have to get...?
Alex got a letter from Kate in a future because of a quirk of fate.
From '04 to '06, Alex tried to impress Kate's memories.
He didn't know how important of her life and finally
he changed his life.
Ummm...I can't figure out which is the start line of this story...
But the end of the line,she jumped '06 to '08 so quickly.

Innosence and honestly hot-heart Willie appealed

before the days of Red Purge came USA.
Director was shut out in '50s because of the Red Purge.
Then based movie showed on the public in Japan '76
Iwanami Hall(it meant less than 500thather scale in USA).

I was really interested that S.Penn played Willie because
he has strong not only political idea but also making movies.
He holds to uncompromising standards, to make good quality movies
it would be good.
Director Zallian didn't watch ex-movie All the kings Men
he pay attenstion based novels atomosphere.
When this movie was on air in Japan,result of French President
election was just around the corner.
His speech style reminds me Pregident Sarcogi.
It would be ironical sequence.
Stance of Jack was outside observer also brother in crime.
His stance was really interesting and sometimes complecated.
Adam and Ann were descendant of aristocraft whose family go to ruin.
We could see their sensitive mind from their life style.
They wanted to save Willie and Jack but finally they
ruit it everything because of they didn't know world.
The story draw catastofy that sport of fortune, it not
"despair".
"Hope" of Willie alive in Louisiana for now.
