The film opens in an anonymous,
indeterminate transportation terminal with an middle-age-man
who sits down wheel chair, talking to a seemingly
random stranger looked depressing.
He began to tell the story of a Kansas City Shuffle,
time went back 1979, a local horse race was fixed by
gangster.
A innocence working family man was involved the race,
to make a large bet on the "Lucky Numver seven horse"
in the hopes of changing he and his family's lives but
horse had heart attack on the race because of using too much drug.
With no money to pay off the debt he owed to the mob,
and since the mob had found out about the fix,
the working man, his bookie, his wife,
and his son are ordered to be killed to send a message
to others in the gambling society.
"That's too bad".
20years later, now, there is a man who dept two big
NY gangsters then no way to pay back,Nick was in airport.
After he heard the story from the man, Nick was carrried
wheel chair instead of man, Why?
At the same time, a young man named Slevin who should
have stayed Nick's apartment without nothing.
Since he'd arrived Manhattan,NY, he faced bad luck.
Before he'd visited there, he bloke his girlfriend
then he has stolen his wallet and bloke his nose.
When he arrived Nick's apartment, the door had opened and
Nick seemed missing.
While he had a showered he met Nick's girlfriend Lindsey.
Lindsey thought Nick was in trouble and immediately embarked
on a mission to find out what happened to him.
Just after she leaves to go to work,
Slevin was forcibly taken (still wearing only a towel) to
the office of powerful mob boss known as The Boss who has
mistaken Slevin for Nick and was looking to collect on a large debt.
The Boss was willing to forgive the debt if Slevin agrees to
murder the son of the rival mob boss known as The Rabbi.
The son is known as the Fairy - everyone knows he is gay
except his father.
The Boss wants to have "the Fairy" killed in order to
seek revenge upon the Rabbi for the recent murder of his own son.
Soon after Slevin returns to his apartment he was taken by
some goons to met the Rabbi who was former friend of The Boss.
The Rabbi also mistook Slevin for Nick, and he too wanted Slevin
to come up with a large sum of money to pay off a debt.
Slevin returned to his apartment, and confides
about his situation to Lindsey.
Lindsey has gotten a cell phone photo of
the mysterious hitman named Smith.
who is also seen in the shadows of both mob bosses.
As Slevin reluctantly plans to murder the Fairy, he was accosted and
watched by the police, and also thugs from both crime families.
But Slevin suceeded to kill The Fairyso easily and
Smith was there ....Smith already know Slevin...
As Rabbi found himself in the different offfice but where
had to live...he was tight The Boss.
He found who asked to kill his son then what happened.
As Slevin stepped down the stair in front of them...
he told the whole story is about avenging the 1979 horse racing incident

Bitter,spicy,cool crime comedy suspence movie.
Josh Harttenet suceeded to play a hitman who
looks like innocent thought merciless.
Also, B.Willis,Sir.B.Kingsley,M.Freeman,two of
big oscar actors conversations are great.
Of cause Lucy was cute and she played important role
who changed life of Slevin to give a chance to
ged rid of life of murder.
Even though story plot made me complicated though
there were key points of who was Slevin.
First scene was B.Willis explaned Kansas City Shuffle
to Nick at airport.
It meant why he grew-up Henry 20 years ago.
It's a blindfold kick back type of a game
called the Kansas City Shuffle

And why he wouldn't deny when Rabi wrong his name.

If Slevin named full name, Rabi found he made-up his name.
"Kelevra" is Hebrew for "bad dog" (also meant dept).
End of the scene, Slevin shot the cop who killed his mother.
The cop just catched the truth from his colleage.
The role of his colleage was Robert Foster who was in
Jacky Brown. If you were big fan of Tarantino,
it would be grad to see him again.
Director's another gang-ster movie Gangster-No.1was
totally different.
After son killed his father who was top of gang-star and
rised top of gang-star,he wouldn't get glory.
On the other hand,Slevin was able to finish his journey of
revenge and get back his 20 years.
