John Q(2002)
An African-American middle age man,John Q has make a living as a
factory workers however he was cut labor hours and has looked
for another job to make up with it. But all of companies
refused to hired under "overqualified".
His wife Denise's car was come up by bank in wad instead of
house. One bright light in family is their son Mike who
love built body. One day he got heart attack during baseball
game. He was taken hospital and John found Mike had heavy
heart disease . Because of that he need heart transport
A.S.A.P, his blood type was rare, he should have be top of
the right of list and have been able to cover insurance...
but his insurance wouldn't cover. His revel of insurance
was cut into low. Furthermore hospital director Rebecca
said if you paid 30%of surgery money, Mike wouldn't get
surgery. John began to gather money to sell for all of
things even their engage rings.. just save Mike. But she said
"deportation order". John decided to shut himself with hostages...

Plot line reminded me Al Pacino's bank-robbing movie "Dogday Afternoon".
To be precise, it devised "Madcity" and this movie"John Q".
Because a big studio brought it Dustin first time and he
wanted to changed screenplay like "What about John begin
his approaches media...". This idea brought "Madcity" and
idea of "John Q" left over 5years in studio's box. Director
Nick said to Denzel when he ask for starring it "Denzel,
please reply within 2 hours I am about to be killed
studio!" It means nobody believe Denzel would star in movie
but it In spite of his greatest work, other casts
stereotype I thought. It would be good that someone
anomalistic in main character who is about to limelight
away from main role. But we can learn a lot of things about
American insurance system. Nowadays American insurance
system going through Japanese lifestyle such us Driving
insurance Credit card, American bank... but who ensure
your life as same as Japanese insurance company, just think.
Actually I've gotten car insurance for a long time and
changed option little bit year by year but seldom changed
company 'coz they ensure my car of life than I thought.
Just think, If car was your son's life...American optional
system it's called "cafeteria style warfare" it's difficult
to go through in Japan

Each scenes reminded me recent up-coming movies.
When Vittorio harbored an escaped Sartet(Delon),it reminded me Swordfish.
Two partner tugged reluctantly and they wanted to betray if they had a
chance it like The Score or The tailor of Panama or
Any number can win(melodie of downstair=Melodies en sous soul)
It means film-noir,or caper-movie,I forgot how many times I saw those.
Especially after Sartet's face exposed ,they found they couldn't go to NY
could,you? So they came up the Idea to randing highway which constructing
At that time there was no jumbo-jet(over600people can carry) ,they could
do it probably...I saw it very realistic.
Plus...if you felt about The score or The tailor~ ,
they luck one more drama,I recommended it. J.Gavin VS A.Delon Two big name
and L.Ventura...no one wanted to leave it.


Ascenseur pour l'echafaud(1957)
Former officer Julien Tavernier who works for an oil company, he has a affair
with CEO's wife.Florance.
One day he came up to the idea to do a perfect crime to kill CEO.

stopped by his stair. He tried to escape here somehow.

For his remarkable cinematic debut, director Louis Malle
brought a fresh and original approach to the film.
He synchronized　"two different crime story" on the one film
After young coulple stole Julien's car.
On the surface they wouldn't connected each other however
they connected the last scene.To find young couple, Flrance
blew up her plan. It was trick last I thought.
M.Ronet appear his full or ability in Malle's directing movie.
His role reminds me "codfish aristocracy" especially whenever
he played with A.Delon after he co-work with Plain Soleiu
And Milles Davis Jazz BGM was really good for this movie.


The Sixth Sense(1999)
Malcom Crowe is leading man of a child psychologist

At that time, Aussie friend asked me that which was illusion or
what was the end? Probabry he couldn't get film's last.
I thought it was well-made plot ghost movie.
AT first I thought it was horor movie though end of the story
it became curing story. Cole told Marcolm many hints what the
difference between ghost and people.
Then he has desperated to curing by people he choise ghost
I thought his unhappiness ability would lost someday.

Time setting 1910 in America, there were three men had

Young guy Charles kept his eye on mortor-cycle, he went to

Honestry, I wasn't moved this story.
In spite of it was bestseller in USA and Achademy nominated
in 2004. I know it was good story, but first-facede was
too long for me. It was long winded why they met Sebiucuit.
They shold written it more right touch I supporse.
Then wrote more deeply how to closed tied with Seabiucuit.
There were special guest for this movie such as profewsional
jockey Gary Steavens. So it was nice try.
Howard wouldn't cast off even though Red was in dire strair.
Also Tom did too. Once he was fed up with "smell of the business"
he got back for Seabuiscuit and Red.
Nowaday top of business person cast off employee with no feel.
It was signal the coming of "selfish posture era".
In consequence, I'd like to say what was the era '20s
there was no WW2, people who take care of close,car,
it was not desposable.
Also casting was good. J.Bridges reminded me he played
Car company CEOTucker, C.Cooper who had cow over 20
years, he was able to bring his idea for director.
Tobey throw his image for casting I supporse.
As same as roles which he has played, sturdy but cylde,
then he had lonely eyes. He was grown up devoced single
mother. Then he has moved when he was teenager.
Auther fight against her sick and continued to wrote this
story. Probably, those of elements arouse our sympathy

A retired young master car thief Memphis is a instructor
of cart driver for kids in North Carifornia.
One day he got a bad news from ex-colleague Atley.
His brother Kip who became a car thief. Not only that

who is cold-blood,wanted criminal by homicide.
Require of Raimond is really simple but difficult
for Memphis.

Donny who is instructor of driving school.
Sphinx who work at molg. But one member isn't
willing to gather the plan. Sway,she is expert
of Itarian cars now,bartender and mechanic.
Still she's blamed Memphis left her 6 years.
Other members gathered Otto's garage and
draw up the plan.
They named women's name each cars as ususal.
Then Kip and his fellows appeared to help the job
Memphis kicked off his offers at first however
Otto tried to calm down him.
Memphis adimit to got in the member if he quit
this job.
And Sway added the member eventually
Ledgendally master thief appear on the public..

Based on a '70s movie Gone in 60 seconds
directed, produced starring was H=B=Haliki who
died by stant accident during movie shooting.
Now D.Sena who has cut down his teeth under

I thought it was lacking of developing
characters and story.
Instead of that, they pay attention for
car action and why Menphis wanna stole
Elenor even though he would be die.

Shelby is not car dealer's name.
It's kind of "specialist" such as "MUGEN"
in Japan.
CEO of Shelby is Carol Shelby who
is ex-racer. After he found heart disease
he stick to make tuned car.
In '67 Shelby made GT500 Ford mustang.

of Shelby. One was no engine, another one

Yeah ,you would be able to find why Menphis

McDonald are healthy.
If their food were healthy, why the girls had diabetes who had
McDonald usually? He watched its news in Thanksgiving days at
his hometown. His wife is vegetarian cheff then he is NewYoker.
Usually NewYoker walk 7-8km,if McDonald would be healthy foods
they wouldn't be diabetes...Okay! I'll try it!

First of all, he didn't wanna criticize McDonald or
First food worlds, just caution about eating habit
as a people who is interested in eating.
People who is more poor more tend to rely on first food.
Because of it's cheep, fast, why Morgan choice McDonald,
just they are the biggest fast food company in all over the world.
Why does he needed to done himself? Above all, Fulfill one's duty
is the best things for this movie.
For me, story was kind of heavy in a way.
I used to like McDonald but after I lose my weight I seldom
eat fast foods themselves.
He ate fast food painful, sometimes vomited after ate foods,
sometimes movie film shot built in after ate fast-food director
somebody gave liposuction surgery or interview why American
famous ice-cream franchise shop Baskin & Robbins founder died.
Comparing two of things sometimes too much strong for me.
Other sequence were good for example, compare with food service
between free school and high school.
Recently, even though in Japan food service is getting close America.
In free school, most menu are hand made, if somebody would complain
about it, food service wouldn't blame them.
But high schools are afraid of blame students then they feed only
frozen foods for students.
After this movie was shown on the public, McDonald wiped out Supersize
and diet institutive Cheeseburger-bill, if somebody would damage
one's health by eating habit, don't suit company.
But there are many easting allurements in America, i t's hush to
clean up your responsibility, don't you think?

Based on a true experience of director K.Smith.
At first Main role was offered M.Damon but he didn't
have a time to shot it even though he planed an idea
of this story then the role went to his best friend Ben.
Ben's charaster name, Olli came from the first name of
the popular DC superhero, Green Arrow because director
K.Smith wrote a part of this comic issues.
Joey Lauren Adams was originally considered for the part of
Gertrude Steiney. But Ben recommended Jeniffer to work with him.
First edition of this movie's flyer was printed Jennifer Lopez
next to Ben however she bloke up before the movie showed up.
Also scene of arriage ceremony was deleted even though it was
beautiful.(We expect DVD deleted scene!)
Anyway...Story line was syrupy.
Also we would be easy to can guess what Will Smith say for Ollie.
Furthermore, Requel who played Gertie hard to say innocent or cute,
we could say cheeky sometimes.
After we saw genious child actress D.Funning in I Am Sam,
it would be difficult to find a fantastic child actress.
On the other hand, G,Carlin stole the lime light from Ben.
