When thousands of young Americans lie dead on foreign soil,
And at Fort Polk, thousands more young Americans prepare
to join them at army traning camp Fort Polk Louisiana.
The recluits give training 8weeks there then they send "Tigerland"
which is place of practice maneuvers 1 week.
They have to battle each other as same as real war.
There was a company which name is A has given training
Louisiana to enter "Tigerland"
Each man deals with this prospect in his own way.
J.Paxton who comes from NY, notebook in hand, expects
the war to inform his writing- a romantic notion drawn
from Hemingway.
Miter who is commander ,hopes to prove himself as a man.
Cantwell who worrried about his family
Wilson with disturbing zeal,lusts for battle.
Roland Bozz always resist "millitary" by all means.
He think he is going to drop off millitly before he
go to Vietnam.
But his attitude has reason...why do we have to fighting
such like despiration war...

If would be able to do that, the filmaker would make fun of him.
But the movieTigerlandstand in direct opposition to such
like movies. It's difficult to categorized "Vietnam movie" however
director J.Schomacher sent a clear message to us, I supporse.
Like,"At that time there was no choise to go Vietnam,they can't
act on one's own will,now and then"
So.. Now and then,Bozz had stayed away from war at first.
In spite of he has a talent of fix up group, he stay away from
to do it. He believed that everybody was able to get away there
before they go to Vietnam. But his thinking changed when he enter
"Tigerland". After he ender there, he found it was totally trap
by govermment. He found there was no chance to win in Vietnam
even though he was in Tigerland.Then he figure out sonner or
later he went to die.
It's not only mention about Vietnam War but also mention about
draft system and millitaly training system.
